First day of school? The Class of 2027 knows how to start things off right!
Before the school day got underway, our seniors gathered for a Senior Sunrise. They cooked breakfast together—including bacon and eggs—brought treats to share, played music, and enjoyed a little friendly competition with some yard games.
A great morning spent together and a fun way to officially kick off their last year at Random Lake High School.
Welcome back, seniors! Here’s to a great year, Class of 2027! 🎓💙🐏

At the School District of Random Lake, we believe education is about more than preparing students for the next grade level. It’s about developing the skills, character, confidence, and purpose students need to thrive in school, in their careers, and in life.
From our youngest learners discovering their potential, to middle school students building confidence and finding their purpose, to high school students stepping forward as capable, future-ready leaders — The RL Advantage is a commitment to growing the whole child.
✓ Strong Classrooms. High expectations, engaging instruction, and support for every learner.
✓ Strong Culture. Respect, belonging, character, and a commitment to caring for one another.
✓ Strong Community Connections. Partnerships, real-world learning, and opportunities that connect students to their future.
Our goal is simple: build leaders who learn, live, and lead with purpose.
Growing stronger together. One step at a time.

🌟 Building Strong Community Connections at Random Lake! 🌟
We were honored to welcome Dr. Jill Underly, WI State Superintendent to Random Lake today as we kicked off the 2026-27 school year!
Dr. Underly joined our staff to highlight how our PreK-12 Portrait of a Leader directly aligns with Wisconsin’s new statewide Portrait of a Graduate initiative. Both efforts focus on preparing our students not just for tests, but for real life—equipping them with essential skills like critical thinking, adaptability, collaboration, and strong community roots.
One of our core values at RL is "Making Strong Community Connections," and we are thrilled to lead the way in showing how real-world experiences prepare our kids for college, careers, service, and beyond.
Thank you, Dr. Underly, for celebrating our staff, our students, and our community's vision for the future! 🎓 Dynamic pathways start right here in Random Lake.

We’re taking a look back at some of the fun our middle schoolers had during Jump Start! Students made edible layers of the ocean, built bottle and sand volcanoes, created water filters, and even designed bulletin boards for their hallways.
It was a great week filled with hands-on learning, creativity, and plenty of fun!

🌟 Happy August! We're thrilled to welcome everyone back as we gear up for an incredible school year ahead.
Learning at Random Lake Elementary happens everywhere—in our classrooms AND out in the world! 🌍 We believe in building real connections with our community, and we're kicking things off with our first structured adventure. 🚀
This fall, we're heading to 🌾 Nourish in Sheboygan Falls, a historic former dairy farm where students will discover how food grows and get their hands dirty with hands-on learning. It's going to be amazing! But here's where we need YOU. 🙌 We're looking for parent chaperones to join us on this adventure.
Interested in helping? Click here to sign up: https://forms.gle/Vn4eEgViqfQ2F5SG8
A quick note for our 4K families: your little ones will experience Nourish in the spring, so stay tuned! 🌱
Let's make this a year full of growth, discovery, and community. We can't wait to see what we learn together! 💚

A big weekend on the mat for Caleb! 🤼♂️
Caleb came away with the top spot at the Summer Cookin’ in the Kettle Outdoor Tournament hosted by Kettle Moraine Wrestling Club!
Tournament wins don’t happen by accident. They’re built through early mornings, tough practices, extra reps, and the willingness to keep getting better. Caleb put that work on display and earned himself some championship hardware!
Congratulations, Caleb! We’re proud to see you representing Random Lake Wrestling and continuing to make your mark on the mat. 👏

We are planning the upcoming RL Rams Basketball Club season and would like to determine if there would be enough interest to offer teams for our 7th and 8th grade players.
Before opening registration and collecting fees, we want to make sure we have enough players to form teams and avoid having to issue refunds if there aren’t enough registrations.
If your child is interested in playing 7th or 8th grade club basketball this season, please take a moment to complete the survey: https://forms.gle/AbiiUg8RCVW2NYQJ8
Your responses will help us determine whether we can move forward with registration for these grade levels. Thank you!
