Welcome to Flashback Friday! Today we’re heading back to Elementary PE, where Mrs. Traas brought the Winter Olympics to life for her students.

Our young athletes competed in their own Olympic-style events, including curling, cross-country skiing, and skeleton, filling the gym with energy, excitement, and lots of smiles.

It was a fun and creative way to celebrate movement, teamwork, and the spirit of the games—and the students loved every minute of it!

We are looking for volunteers to help with our annual Middle School Triathlon on May 27th from 12:30–2:30 PM. 🚴‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We are also in need of a certified lifeguard—all necessary equipment will be provided, and the position pays $20/hour.

The Hatchet Club and American Wilderness Science class took their learning to the outdoor classroom, mastering the art of making a classic campfire treat—pudgy pies! Students not only learned the recipe but also enjoyed quality time together around the campfires.

On March 9, our National Honor Society partnered with Versiti to host a blood drive—and our community showed up in an incredible way!

We welcomed 25 donors and collected 18 whole blood units along with 1 double red cell donation, totaling 20 lifesaving blood products. Because of this generosity, up to 60 local patients may benefit from these donations.

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this event a success. Your willingness to give truly makes a difference! ❤️

All elementary classes recently met with Mrs. Riechers to build on their Character Education lessons by participating in a perseverance obstacle course!

Through this fun and engaging activity, students practiced not giving up when faced with challenges, using positive self-talk, and cheering on their classmates as they worked toward their goals. It was a great reminder that perseverance and encouragement can help us all succeed!

She shared how she inspires her students—especially female students—to get outdoors, experience nature, and learn lifelong hunting and outdoor skills.
