Please welcome our new CRO Stephen Cobb to the district and learn more about him here:

On December 4th , I started as the Random Lake School District Community Resource Officer.
I’ve recently retired from a 30-year policing career at the Sheboygan Police Department. Since 1993, I have worked as a patrol officer, Emergency Response Team officer, Police Supervisor and as a Police Administrator. I retired as a Captain, and over the span of my career, served in almost every major role within the Police Department and worked with many other City leaders on community wide initiatives.

I’m originally from Auburn, Alabama, however spent most of my formative school years in Bondurant, Iowa. I graduated from Bondurant-Farrar High School in 1983. After high school, I served in the United States Marine Corps, serving 4 years in an infantry regiment. While I was in the Marines, my family moved to Wisconsin. After my discharge, I joined them and attended college here. I have attended Auburn University and UW-Platteville. Though I‘m a Platteville Pioneer alumni, I am a die-hard, to the core Auburn Tigers fan.

My first job out of college was as a police officer for the Village of Lake Delton in the Wisconsin Dells area. I worked there for almost a year before selecting the Sheboygan Police Department as a career department. I live on Sheboygan’s far south side with my wife Krista. We have one daughter, Caitlyn, who works at Sheboygan Aurora. I’m an active volunteer with AFS and have served as a host family or liaison since 2014. I'm also active with Big Brothers Big Sisters, serving as a big for 3 different littles over the last 10 years.

I am thrilled to be working in Random Lake. The nature of this school and this community remind me in so many ways of the community I grew up in. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone and becoming part of the team.

Let's give Officer Cobb a warm Ram Welcome! #RLAdvantage
