Students on running track

The Random Lake High School and Middle School cross country teams hosted the first annual Run-a-Thon to fundraise for the Random Lake Cross Country team from 8am-3pm on October 6th. All money will go to meet entries, bussing, uniforms, banquets, and awards. The cross country team raised around $1,000!

All members of the high school cross country team ran 8 miles and the middle schoolers ran 5 miles! The cross country coach, Mrs. Weeks ran the whole day, totaling 31 miles. The cross country team all together ran 1,021 laps on the track. Run-a-Thon shirts were created and were available for purchase during the event. All community members were invited to attend and the athletes collected donations all throughout the day.
